Are 3G Opaque and Jet-Opaque II dark transfer papers “cold peels” or “hot peels”?
All ink-jet heat transfer papers for dark garments, including 3G Opaque and Jet-Opaque II™ heat transfer papers, are cold peels, This means that the parchment must be removed after the ink has had a chance to cool down. Both dark transfer papers, manufactured by Neenah Paper, come with parchment paper included in the package to complete the transfer.
Is your JetPro SofStretch heat transfer paper a “cold peel” or “hot peel”?
Our ink-jet heat transfer paper for light garments, JetPro SofStretch, can be peeled hot or cold because the process of applying the transfer is a little different. In fact, we recommend a hot peel for JetPro SofStretch because we think the results are sharper and look better. Our Laser One Opaque™ products are designed to work with laser printers, color copies, and printers. Laser One Opaque heat transfer papers work in both non-fuser oil and fuser oil.
Can I use a regular (household) iron with Jet-Opaque II™, 3G Opaque and Jet-Pro SofStretch?

Do I need to trim my transfer?
Yes, we recommend trimming the excess heat transfer paper from your design before applying it to the fabrics. This is particularly true for products that formulated for dark garments, such as Laser One Opaque, Jet Opaque II and 3G Opaque. But, if you are using Image Clip Laser Dark self-weeding heat transfer paper, you will not need to trim your transfer. Jet-Pro SofStretch, an inkjet heat transfer paper for light garments, can be trimmed but most customers find it unnecessary.
Will you ship overseas?
We ship to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This is because the charges necessary for overseas shipping makes it cost-prohibitive for our customers. Does your heat transfer paper have a shelf life?
Yes. All of our Neenah Paper heat transfer products should be used within two years of the date of purchase. After two years, the product may not work as well as intended. Proper storage of unused transfers (a sealed plastic bag in an environment with low humidity), will help keep your paper in good condition until you are able to use it. Are your heat transfer products washable?
Yes! All our heat transfer products have endured rigorous durability testing. In fact, our products significantly exceed industry standards for washability and performance. Garments made with our heat transfer products average 50 washes. You can extend the life and color of your image by closely following the washing instructions. The first time the garment is washed, it should be turned inside out, washed in cold water, then tumble dried. This process helps cure the ink and make the durability stronger.
Can I iron the garment after I’ve applied a heat transfer paper?
Yes, you can iron your garment after you’ve applied a heat transfer paper. However, if you want to iron over the transferred area, you must place a pillowcase or other protective layer between the iron and the design. Do not use high heat. What types of fabrics work best with your heat transfer products?
Most heat transfer products works best with 100% cotton or any cotton/poly blend down to 50/50. Some products are designed for other types of fabric. When and how do you ship the product?
Most order are shipped the same business day of receipt of payment as long as they are received by 3pm EST. If for any reason your shipments are delayed, you will be notified immediately and given the chance to modify or cancel your order. Our standard shipping method is UPS ground but we will occassionally use USPS Priority Mail if it will arrive to your location in the same amount of time or less than UPS.
